Athletistic/Hockey. Today, March 27, CSKA announced an important decision. The Moscow club has decided not to renew the contract with Sergei Fedorov. Ilya Vorobyov became the new head coach of CSKA. Olympic champion Valery Kamensky spoke about this.

– Vorobyov is an experienced coach, he has won trophies. The management of CSKA decided this and experienced guys work there. Vorobyov loves to attack hockey, which is probably why the choice fell on him. But I don’t think Sergei Viktorovich will leave the CSKA organization, he will help. A person with such experience and coaching background cannot be left behind,” Kamensky was quoted as saying by SE.

Recall that with Metallurg Ilya Vorobyov won the Gagarin Cup in 2016 as head coach and in 2014 as assistant coach.
