Athletistic / Hockey. Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevsky shared his emotions after defeating the Boston Bruins (3:1) in an NHL regular season home game. At the end of the meeting, it was the 29-year-old Russian who was recognized as its first star.
“Today, Tampa was stable throughout the 60 minutes. We already have the impression of playing in playoff mode. I know that the opponent played their second match in two days and we took advantage of it.
Now I feel like we are growing together as a team. We’re fighting for a playoff spot, but just because we won our last few games doesn’t necessarily mean we’ll be there. We must not slow down, but continue to fight,” Vasilevsky quotes the NHL press service.
Andrei Vasilevsy stopped 23 shots last night and also had an assist.
Tampa after 72 matches has scored 87 points and is in sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Lightning have 10 games left before the end of the regular season.
