The Russian attackerPittsburgh » Evgeny Malkin shared his emotions about his parents’ presence at the Penguins home game.
Pittsburgh won (3:2) against Columbus in the NHL regular season match. Malkin scored his 20th and 21st goals of the season, scoring both times on the power play. The Russian was recognized as the first star of the meeting. Malkin’s parents watched the game from the stands.
“We saw today that they gave me additional motivation, additional emotions. Flying here is not that easy as the journey takes around 20 hours. I hope they stay all year next year. They were tired and excited today before the game. I know they watch all the games at home, wake up at three in the morning and watch, they know everything,” Malkin said in the locker room after the game.
