The Russian attackerMinnesota » Kirill Kaprizov the first in franchise history to score more than 80 points in two regular NHL championships.
On Thursday, Kaprizov had two assists in a 3-1 win over San Jose. Thus, the Russian scored his 81st point this season (36 goals + 45 assists).
Kaprizov became the first hockey player in Minnesota history to surpass the 80-point mark twice. In the 2021/22 season, the striker totaled 108 points (47+61).
Minnesota is in tenth place in the Western Conference standings with 79 points.
