The legendary Kiev club defeated Kremenchug in the final and won the prestigious competition for the 15th time.

Today, March 29, the final match of the Ukrainian Hockey Championship took place, where Kremenchug hosted Sokol.

Note that the hosts have almost no chance of getting overall success. Sokol leads the series 3:0, so now Kremenchuk needs to win the remaining four games to win the championship.

Let’s remember that the teams were supposed to play this match on March 28, but due to an air raid warning the game had to be finished today.

Kremenchuk started the game well. Lyalka scored the first goal of the match, but the visitors scored more. Sokol scored three goals in a row. After this, there was a forced stoppage in the match.

After the resumption of the match, the hosts scored again, however, they were not enough to do more. 3:2 – in favor of the Kievites in the match, and 4:0 – in the series. This is Sokol’s third straight title and 15th in history.
