Edmonton Forward Connor McDavid spoke about the fight for the title of top scorer in the NHL regular season in the 2023/24 season.
For the moment, the Colorado striker leads the scoring race. Nathan McKinnon (127 points), the Tampa forward is second. Nikita Koucherov (126), McDavid (125) closes the top three.
“Both have had two wonderful seasons in a row. These are two great players who are always among the leaders. They both play very well. And they both play alongside special players, like me here. It was interesting to watch them.
But we don’t play for individual rewards or anything like that. If the prize is won along the way, so much the better. Otherwise, we will continue to move forward anyway,” McDavid said, as quoted by the NHL press service.
