Athletistic / Hockey. The New York Rangers defeated the New Jersey Devils last night with a score of 4:3 in an NHL regular season home game. Russian striker Artemy Panarin largely contributed to this success for the Blue Shirts.
Panarin scored two effective actions in this meeting – he scored a goal and became the author of an assist. This season, Artemy has already scored 110 (45+65) points thanks to the goal+pass system.
Thus, Panarin managed to overtake the legendary Jean Ratel (109) and clearly reach second place in the history of the Rangers in number of points during an NHL regular season. The franchise record belongs to the Czech Jaromir Jagr, who managed to score 123 (54+69) points in the 2005/2006 season.
Rangers have six matches left before the end of the regular season and Artemy therefore has the opportunity to improve his result.
