Athletistic / Hockey. The Tampa Bay Lightning defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-1 in an NHL regular season road game. Russian striker Nikita Kucherov largely contributed to this success.
Kucherov helped his teammates three times last night. Such an effective game helped him enter the history of Russian hockey. The fact is that he became the first Russian player to reach the 130-point mark during an NHL regular season.
Currently, Nikita Kucherov has scored 42 goals and 88 assists this season. Previously, the national record belonged to him and was set in the 2018/2019 season – 128 points.
“Tampa” still has 7 matches before the end of the regular season, and therefore Kucherov’s record result will have to be significantly improved.
