Athletistic / Hockey. The Tampa Bay Lightning defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-1 in an NHL regular season road game. The main hero of the meeting was the Russian striker of the winners, Nikita Kucherov.
Last night, Kucherov scored three assists in 17:24 on the ice. This allowed him to set a national record for points in a single regular season. Currently, the 30-year-old Russian has 130 (42+88) points in the goal+pass system.
It should be noted that the previous record belonged to him (128 points) and was established during the 2018/2019 season. During this campaign, Kucherov managed to become the top scorer of the NHL season. The Russian now leads the scoring race, but has a very slight advantage over his closest pursuers – Nathan MacKinnon (Colorado Avalanche) and Connor McDavid (Edmonton Oilers).
