The Russian attackerTampa Bay Lightning » Nikita Koucherov recognized as the third star of the day of the NHL regular season, reports the league press service.
Tampa beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-1 on Wednesday. Kucherov scored an assist-filled hat-trick and became the first Russian in NHL history to reach 130 points in a championship regular season. The 30-year-old forward became the fifth NHL player in the last 30 years to achieve such a feat. Kucherov also rewrote the franchise record for points in a season. The previous success belonged to him – 128 points in the 2018/19 season.
The second star of the day was the Dallas Stars goaltender. Jake Autinger , who had a shutout in the match against the Edmonton Oilers (5:0). The goalkeeper stopped 35 shots.
On the first line is the Los Angeles Kings forward. Trevor Moore who scored three goals in the match against the Seattle Kraken (5:2).
