“For the KHL, it’s a plus that Yashkin has returned to our league” – Vitaly Proshkin

Double world champion Vitaly Proshkin shared his opinion for ” on the striker’s transition Dmitry Yashkin in SKA.

Earlier on Monday, the hockey player signed a one-year contract with the St. Petersburg team. The rights to it in the KHL previously belonged to Dynamo Moscow.

– Everything is simple here: the clubs – Dynamo and SKA – were able to agree, and the hockey player himself was not opposed to signing a new contract in the KHL. This is a normal situation. Turns out everyone was happy.

– According to the media, Dynamo received tangible compensation for the striker.

“It should be so, it makes sense,” the parties closed all financial matters. Thanks to this, the transition took place. Dynamo decided that was the best solution. Last season, it must be admitted, Dmitry turned out to be crumpled for various reasons. SKA was interested in the striker’s services. The Moscow club received a lot of money, which is very important at the moment. In any case, it’s good that a prominent and skillful player has returned to the KHL, it’s a plus for the league,” Proshkin said.

Yashkin played for Dynamo Moscow from 2019 to 2021. In total, Yashkin played 133 games in the KHL and scored 137 points (77 + 60) with a utility indicator of +67. The Czech forward spent the last season in the NHL with Arizona.
