Five-time Russian champion and world championship medalist Vladimir Antipov has commented on striker Dmitry Yashkin’s transition to SKA.
– You can talk as much as you want on the subject of Yashkin’s transition to SKA, but I think that in this story all sides remained in the dark. The St. Petersburg club, it’s no secret, showed great interest in the striker. Dynamo, apparently, correctly weighed all the pros and cons of Yashkin’s transfer, which is why the deal itself took place.
– You can argue: the Moscow club has lost a quality player.
– The fact that the interests of all parties come together played a role here. The compensation for the striker’s transition is probably quite decent. Dynamo can spend that revenue on both new player contracts and developing young hockey players. I note that the position of the capital club is correct and logical here, – said Antipov “”.
From 2019 to 2021, Yashkin played for Dynamo Moscow, where in the 2020/21 season he played on the same line with Vadim Shipachyov and Dmitry Kagarlitsky, who are currently Ak Bars hockey players.
