As has learned, SKA appealed to the Sports and Disciplinary Committee (SDC) of the KHL with a request to consider the episode of the SKA-1946 match of the Kharlamov Cup.
The episode occurred on Tuesday, April 9, during the fifth match of the semi-final of the SKA-1946 Kharlamov Cup – “Polar Bears” (5:2). At one point, visiting defender Alexander Filatov stabbed St. Petersburg goalkeeper Pavel Moisevich with his stick. In this episode, the referees counted the goal, but after watching video, they overturned the goal.
In the final of the Kharlamov Cup, SKA-1946 will play with the winner of the Loko-Chaika pair.
