Athletistic / Hockey. NHL official website reporter Bill Price shared his opinion on the possibility of Russian New York Rangers forward Artemi Panarin winning the Hart Trophy at the end of this season. This award is given to the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the regular season.
“In any other season, Panarin would be a strong candidate for the Hart Trophy, but given the way Nikita Kucherov, Nathan MacKinnon and Connor McDavid are currently playing, Artemy might not even make the final list of trophy contenders Hart,” says Price’s article.
This NHL season, Artemiy Panarin played 79 games and scored 116 (46+70) points using the goal+pass system. It should be noted that for the first time in his career, Artemy exceeded the 100 point mark in a regular season.
The Rangers have scored 110 points in 79 matches and are in first place in the Eastern Conference standings.
