Agent Shumi Babaev, representing the interests of the head coach “Tractors” Alexei Zavarukhin answered a question about the progress of negotiations between the Chelyabinsk club and the specialist.
At the end of the regular season, Traktor took sixth place in the KHL Eastern Conference standings. In the playoffs, Zavarukhin’s team was stronger than Salavat Yulaev from Ufa (4-2) and Dynamo Moscow (4-0). In the semifinals of the Gagarin Cup, the Chelyabinsk team lost to Lokomotiv Yaroslavl 0-4.
