Last night, Ovechkin scored an assist in the game against Buffalo. Thus, Alexander has already scored 64 (30+34) points this season. Such a performance allowed the Russian to rank 11th in the standings, beating another Russian, Igor Larionov (63).
The record for this ranking belongs to Adam Oates, who scored 82 points (13+69) in the 2000/01 season.
