Russian striker Kirill Kaprizov scored twice (Minnesota’s fourth and fifth goals) and an assist.
According to the press service of the National Hockey League, Kaprizov set a new Minnesota record for power play goals this season – 18. This figure exceeds the previous record, also held by Kaprizov (17 – in the 2022 season /2023).
In addition, the Russian striker became the record holder of Minnesota for the number of goals scored in away matches during a regular season – 23. Kaprizov surpassed the previous record of Marian Gaborik (22) , established during the 2005/2006 season.
