Athletistic / Hockey. Washington Capitals head coach Spencer Carbery shared his emotions after his team’s victory in the NHL regular season home game against the Boston Bruins. The match took place last night and ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of the capital.
“The game – especially in the first two periods – was very clean. That applied to everything we did – with and without the puck, and in the moments when we were defending. We lost players; we had a few guys out, but “Today everything was so coordinated, all the guys performed well in all three zones. We just needed this to stay in the playoff race, and now we have a decisive day and game,” Carbery said in the NHL press service.
Washington has scored 89 points in 81 matches and is in eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings. In the last meeting of the regular season, Spencer Carbery’s men will visit the Philadelphia Flyers. If the Capitals win, they will guarantee themselves a playoff appearance.
