The decision to keep the technical staff “Salavata Yulaeva” was adopted based on the results of the team’s performances in the regular KHL championship, said the head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov.
“Salavat Yulaev”, under the leadership of Viktor Kozlov, finished his performance in the first round of the Gagarin Cup, losing in the series against “Traktor” (2-4). In the regular season, the Ufa team finished third in the Eastern Conference. At the end of March, the club management offered Kozlov to continue working as head coach.
