Russian forward of the Tampa Bay Lightning club Nikita Kucherov became the top scorer in the 2023/24 NHL regular season and won the Art Ross Trophy.
In 81 matches, Kucherov scored 144 points – 44 goals and 100 assists – and took first place in the list of scorers. Second place was taken by Colorado Avalanche forward Nathan MacKinnon (140 points in 82 games), and Edmonton Oilers forward Connor McDavid (132 points in 76 games) completes the top three.
Kucherov won the Art Ross Trophy for the second time in his career; he previously won this award at the end of the 2018/19 season, collecting 128 points for his performances in 82 matches. In addition, this award was twice received by the Russian forward of the Pittsburgh Penguins Evgeni Malkin – in the 2008/09 and 2011/12 seasons.
Nikita Kucherov is 30 years old, he is a two-time Stanley Cup winner with Tampa (2020, 2021).
