Athletistic / Hockey. The NHL regular season ended that evening. After Kucherov, MacKinnon managed to reach the 140-point mark.
The Colorado forward scored two points in the last game against Edmonton, reaching 140 points for the season. Previously, this mark was surpassed by Russian Nikita Kucherov, who scored 144 points during the regular season.
The NHL press service reported that this is only the second time in the entire history of the league that two players managed to exceed the mark of 140 points at once. The first such incident occurred in the 1995/96 season, when Lemieux (161) and Jagr (149) simultaneously crossed a similar mark.
