Georgiev has played 63 matches in the current campaign and achieved 38 victories. He had a win over Winnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck. Note that another Russian goaltender, Sergei Bobrovsky of the Florida Panthers, finished in third place at the end of the regular season. The 35-year-old Russian has 36 victories in 58 matches.
This season, Alexander Georgiev has kept two clean sheets, stopping 89.7% of his own shots with a safety factor of 3.02.
