Panarin entered the top 7 Hart Trophy contenders in the 2022/23 season according to The Athletic

Athletic has drawn up its classification of contenders for the Hart Trophy-2023. This is an award given annually to the hockey player who has contributed the most to the success of his team during the NHL regular season.

According to the publication, the main contender for the new season award could be Edmonton captain Connor McDavid, who received 75% from The Athletic authors.

Second place was taken by Colorado defender Cale Makar (11.4%). Closed the first three before “Toronto” Oston Matthews – 4.5%.

Next on the list is Alexander Barkov (Florida, 2.3%), Artemi Panarin (Rangers, 2.3%), Johnny Gaudreau (Columbus, 2.3%) and Nathan McKinnon (Colorado, 2.3%).
