The Magnitogorsk team won on their home ice on Saturday with a score of 1:0 (0:0, 0:0, 1:0). The winning goal was the Magnitogorsk striker Denis Zernov in the 41st minute.
In the last seconds of the third period, Lokomotiv sent the puck into the Metallurg goal, but after a video review, the goal was canceled because during the attack one of the players of the Yaroslavl team made a hand pass.
Metallurg won the second game in a row and took the lead in the best-of-four series with a score of 2-0. The third and fourth matches of the series will take place in Yaroslavl on April 22 and 24, respectively.
