Head coach of SKA Romain Rotenberg thinks the Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Koucherov – the most disciplined player who approaches the training process professionally.
Kucherov became the NHL’s top regular season scorer in the 2023/24 season and won the Art Ross Trophy.

— I congratulated Sasha Ovechkin and Nikita Kucherov and am in constant contact with them. I have a lot of respect for these guys, they lead our hockey. Nikita Kucherov is the personification of our hockey at its best, he shows it to the whole world.
He’s not physically the same as McDavid, but his feel for the game, his intelligence and his crazy skills shine through. He was raised well as a child, but Nikita was self-made. He trains 24 hours a day, he is the most disciplined player with an intelligent and professional approach to the training process,” Rotenberg was quoted as saying by “Championship”.
