The legendary Czech hockey player once again criticized the position of the International Olympic Committee.

World hockey legend Dominik Hasek once again criticized the International Olympic Committee for the entry of Russian athletes into the 2024 Olympic Games.

The two-time winner of the Stanley Cup, six-time best goalkeeper in the NHL, and Olympic champion believes that the incredible efforts of the Kremlin leadership, which invested billions of dollars, led to this decision of IOC. And all to have a big platform for their propaganda.

“Worst decision that could have been made. This is a huge effort by the Russian government, Putin and others to bring the Russians back. You have no idea how much it will cost if converted into money. Tens, maybe hundreds of billions of dollars.

This is simply incredible support for their propaganda. Allowing Russian athletes to compete in the Olympics is the same as if we sent them a thousand planes, tanks or more,” Hasek said in an interview with Suspilna Kultura.

We remind you that earlier the IOC announced the estimated number of Russian athletes at the upcoming Olympics in Paris.
