The Ukrainian national hockey team went to the World Championship in Division 1B. We remind you that tomorrow, April 27, the “blue-yellows” will start the championship, which will take place in Lithuania. The first opponent is the national team of Estonia.
And the day before, the Ukrainians played their last control match, defeating the Chinese team 9:0. Based on the results of the friendly matches, the coaching staff determined the final bid for the 2024 World Cup.
Note that the final roster included 27 hockey players. According to the FHU press service, defenders Vladimir Volkov, as well as forwards Ilya Korenchuk and Mikhail Simchuk, were not included in the expanded list.
Let’s remember that in the World Cup in Division 1B that will be held in Lithuania from April 27 to May 3, Ukraine’s opponents will be the teams of Lithuania, China, Estonia, the Netherlands and Spain.
