Athletistic/Hockey. Hockey and basketball commentator Roman Skvortsov has shared his thoughts on Alexander Ovechkin and Evgeni Malkin’s prospects of winning the Stanley Cup in the coming seasons.

“I sincerely don’t believe Sasha or Zhenya will lift the Stanley Cup over their heads in the years to come in the rosters of the teams they play on now. Considering that both are determined to become heroes and legends of their clubs, I do not believe that at the end of their career they will go to minimum wage in the hope of winning the trophy again. Fortunately, Zhenya and Sasha have already won it,” Skvortsov said, adding that Ovechkin and Malkin are the stars of their clubs and the entire National Hockey League (NHL).

Alexander Ovechkin won the Stanley Cup once with the Washington Capitals in 2018. Evgeni Malkin, who plays for the Pittsburgh Penguins, achieved the feat three times – in 2009, 2016 and 2017.
