At the end of the game, Russian forward and Washington captain Alexander Ovechkin commented on his team’s third consecutive loss in the series.
“I think we have been in a similar situation in the last two months. So we just have to stay together and continue to believe,” Ovechkin was quoted as saying by the club’s press service.
Recall that in three playoff matches, Ovechkin did not score any effective action. The fourth game of the playoff series is scheduled for April 29 in Washington, starting at 3 p.m. Moscow time.
