Athletistic/Hockey. On May 14, four group stage matches took place at the 2024 Ice Hockey World Championship.
In Group A, Norway beat Denmark (2:0), securing their first victory in the tournament. The Austrian team made an incredible comeback in the match against Canada, scoring five goals in the third half and coming back to 1:6. In overtime, the Canadians put pressure on their opponents – 7:6.
In group B, Latvia beat Kazakhstan (2:0) and moved to second place in the standings. Poland was beaten by France and remained in last position (2:4).
Wednesday May 15, the 2024 World Cup will pit the Czech Republic – Denmark, Germany – Latvia, Slovakia – Poland, Switzerland – Great Britain. The start of the game day is at 5:20 p.m. Moscow time.
The 2024 World Cup takes place from May 10 to 26 in the Czech Republic. The current world champion is the Canadian team.
