Magnitogorsk “Magnitka” became a participant in the championship of the All-Russian Hockey League (VHL), according to the league’s website.
On Saturday, a meeting of VHL club leaders was held in Sochi, where the new teams entering the league for the 2024/25 season were presented.
Besides Magnitka, VHL participants included Olimpia (Kirovo-Chepetsk), Torpedo-Gorky (Nizhny Novgorod) and Unison (Moscow). A total of 33 clubs will participate in the new VHL season.
It also became known that the VHL 2024/25 season will start on September 1 and last until May 31.
