Canadians beat Finns at World Championships in Czech Republic, German team beat Polish team

National hockey players Canada beat the team Finland during the World Cup group stage match, which takes place in the Czech Republic.

The Group A match ended with a score of 5:3 (2:2, 1:1, 2:0) in favor of the Canadians. Dillon Cozens, Brandon Tanev, Owen Power, Brandon Hagel and Dawson Mercer scored for the winners. Jesse Puljujarvi, Valtteri Puustinen and Jesse Puljujarvi scored for the Finns.

Canada scored 14 points and moved to second place in the standings, the Finns are fourth (7).

In a side match of Group B, the German team defeated the Polish team with a score of 4:2 (0:0, 2:0, 2:2) and rose to second place with 12 points . The Poles occupy the last, eighth place (1).
