Head coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins Mike Sullivan will lead Team USA to the Four Nations Tournament in 2025 and the Olympic Games in 2026, according to the United States Hockey Federation website.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to coach Team USA in these two important international tournaments.” It is a great honor and a challenge for me to lead our best players,” commented the specialist on his appointment.
The Four Nations Tournament will take place from February 12 to 20, 2025 and will feature teams from Canada, the United States, Sweden and Finland. The Winter Olympic Games will be held from February 6 to 22, 2026 in the Italian cities of Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo.
Sullivan, 56, won two Stanley Cups as coach of the Penguins (2016 and 2017).
