Edmonton forward Draisaitl became the third-fastest player in NHL history to reach 100 points in the playoffs

The German attackerEdmonton Oilers » Leon Draisaitl allowed two assists in Game 6 of the second round of the NHL playoffs with the Vancouver Canucks and surpassed the 100 point mark in the Stanley Cup.

On Saturday, Edmonton beat Vancouver 5-1 at home to even the series at 3-3. Draisaitl had two assists for his 99th and 100th points of the playoffs.

The German forward became the third-fastest player in NHL history to reach 100 points (39 goals and 61 assists) in the playoffs, after playing 60 games to do so. Canadians Wayne Gretzky (46 games) and Mario Lemieux (50) surpassed that mark faster than Draisaitl.

The decisive game of the Edmonton-Vancouver series will take place on May 20 on Canucks ice. The winner of the game will face the Dallas Stars in the next round of the playoffs.
