The Americans won a crushing victory with a score of 10: 1. Brady Tkachuk scored a hat trick, Matthew Boldy scored a double, and Brock Nelson, Gavin Brindley, Luke Kunin, Kevin Hayes and Johnny Goudreau also scored. The author of the only goal of the Kazakh team was Alikhan Omirbekov.
The United States is second in Group B with 13 points. Kazakhstan has scored three points and is seventh.
