NHL playoffs: Edmonton reaches the conference finals

The last quarterfinal match of the Stanley Cup was played in the National Hockey League last night.

Edmonton was the last of all participants in the quarterfinals of the NHL playoffs to earn a ticket to the next round of the tournament. It happened last night in the away game against Vancouver.

The Oilers managed to outplay their opponent for almost a period, scoring three goals against the hosts in the second 20 minutes. The Canucks tried to come back, but they only scored twice in the third period.

Edmonton will face Dallas in the NHL Western Conference final.
