All pairs of quarterfinalists of the 2024 World Hockey Championship, which takes place in the Czech Republic, have become known.
Following the results of the group stage, teams from Canada, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Finland advanced from Group A to the playoffs. In Group B, Sweden, USA, Germany and Slovakia qualified.
The quarter-final pairs are as follows:
Canada – Slovakia;
Switzerland – Germany;
Czech Republic – United States;
Finland – Sweden.
The quarter-final matches will take place on May 23. The semi-final matches will take place on May 25. The match for third place and the final of the World Championship will be played on May 26 in Prague.
The current world hockey champion is the Canadian team.
