Former defenseman for several KHL clubs Nikita Shchitov said that the leaders of Moscow “Dynamo” decided to sign a contract with the former striker SKA Artem Shvets-Rogov because he thinks the player will reach the same level.
On Monday, Shvets-Rogovoy joined Dynamo Moscow. The deal with the 29-year-old striker runs until the end of the 2025/26 season.
— There were injuries, but perhaps the Dynamo management believes in Artem that he will not have injuries and will be able to return to his previous level. It’s great that they can believe in a player like that. Let’s hope Shvets-Rogovoy succeeds. This can be a good example of how a person managed to overcome a bad streak in his life and reach the previous level. He is a good example for other guys so that they never lose courage and fight until the end. “I would like to wish Artem success,” Shchitov said, as quoted by RB Sport.
Last season, Shvets-Rogovoy played for SKA St. Petersburg, but due to injury he played only five matches in the KHL regular season, in which he made one assist. In total, the forward scored 92 points (32+60) in 301 matches in the KHL.
