According to the source, the Canucks offered the Russian a contract for four to five years with a salary of about $ 4.5 million, but after Zadorov’s refusal, the team management stopped conducting active negotiations with him.
The 29-year-old hockey player’s agreement with the Canadian club expires and on July 1 he will be able to receive the status of an unrestricted free agent.
As part of Vancouver, Zadorov reached the semifinals of the Western Conference playoffs, where the team lost the series to Edmonton (3-4). In the playoffs, the Russian defender participated in 13 matches in which he recorded four goals and four assists.
