Toronto not considering offering new contract to goaltender Samsonov – media

The Russian goaltender’s contract with Toronto expires and he could receive unrestricted free agent status.

Earlier it became known that Toronto’s Russian defender Ilya Lyubushkin may also leave the team this summer. According to TFP, the club has not yet started negotiations with the hockey player on a new agreement. Lyubushkin, 30,’s current contract with the Canadian club runs until the end of the season; he can become an unrestricted free agent.

Lyubushkin left Anaheim for Toronto during the 2023/24 season. As part of the Canadian club, the Russian played 19 regular season games, scoring 4 points (4 assists), and also collected three assists in seven playoff games.
