Attack “Tractors” Alexandre Kadeikine named the reasons for his move to the Chelyabinsk team.
The 30-year-old striker has signed a contract until the end of the 2025/26 season. Kadeikin’s previous club was SKA St. Petersburg.

— Even last season, when I joined SKA, I did not hide that I wanted to compete for the Cup. You are always faced with a choice: either choose a comfort zone, sit in a warm place, accumulate statistics and receive money under a contract, or leave it, demand more and strive for results sportsmen. Despite the past season, I still want to continue my career in a club that aspires to the Cup. “Traktor” is the club that sets the maximum goals. In this respect, our ambitions coincide.
— Traktor has never won the Cup. Do you want to make club history and be among the first champions?
— The story is certainly great, but that’s not the main thing. There are tasks that must be accomplished with all your might. Whether the first to win or not is already a bonus, these thoughts should be left to the fans and journalists,” Kadeikin said, as quoted by RB Sport.
Kadeikin played in the KHL for Atlant, SKA, Lokomotiv and Salavat Yulaev. In total, he played 625 league matches and scored 270 points (99 goals and 171 assists).
