Agent Alexander Chernykh, representing the interests of the former striker “Spartak » Alexandra Burmistrová explained why the hockey player did not sign a contract with “Vitiaz “
Burmistrov joined Spartak in 2023. In the 2023/24 season, the forward played 50 regular season matches, in which he scored 18 (2+16) points and had one assist in three playoff matches .
— Burmistrov did not refuse the Vityaz team. The situation is prosaic. There really was an offer from this club, but at that time he was waiting for a response from Spartak. Burmistrov never said: “I will not play Vityaz.” If Spartak had indicated earlier that I would not renew him, then he would have happily signed a contract with Vityaz. The offer was good.
— Does Spartak not see Burmistrov in the team?
— Spartak considered whether to keep Burmistrov or not and ultimately decided not to renew the contract. We then spoke with Vityaz, but unfortunately a holy place is never empty. The club has already found other players for this position.
— Is there any interest in him from other clubs?
— He wanted to play in the Moscow region, life is well established there. But at the moment, Alexander will make a decision, and perhaps it will be necessary to change something in everyday life,” quotes Chernykh from RB Sport.
Burmistrov is 32 years old. He graduated from Ak Bars Kazan; in the 2017/18 season, as a member of the club, he won the Gagarin Cup. Previously, in the KHL, the hockey player also defended the colors of Salavat Yulaev Ufa and Metallurg Magnitogorsk. As a member of the Russian national team, he became the 2014 world champion.
