Athletistic / Hockey. The new National Hockey League (NHL) club “Utah” has lifted the veil of secrecy and revealed its logo and uniform. The Salt Lake City team will play there during the 2024/2025 season.
This season, Utah’s franchise was the Arizona Coyotes. However, due to issues with building a new stadium in suburban Phoenix, the NHL decided to move the team to a more wintery state. It is worth noting that according to the agreement, all players, personnel and draft picks belonging to Arizona were transferred to the new team.

Utah will play in the 16,000-seat Salt Lake City arena, built to host the Utah Jazz’s NBA games. It hosted figure skating competitions at the 2002 Olympics.
On May 8, 2024, Utah management presented a list of 20 possible club names. The club’s final name will be chosen by vote by the start of the 2025/26 season. The vote is expected to take place in several stages. The team will play the 2024/25 season under the name “Utah”.
