Former “Avant-garde” coach Bob Hartley could relaunch cooperation with the Omsk club, but in a different way.

Avangard board chairman Alexander Krylov said the club were considering cooperating with Hartley.

“Hartley has already received an invitation and agreed to come to the opening of a new arena. Probably in the future we will continue to cooperate with Bob, but not as a trainer, but as a consultant. Until ‘Now all this is not correct and is under discussion,’ Krylov said.

Recall that Hartley left the “Vanguard” at the end of last season. In 2021, the Omsk club, led by a Canadian specialist, won the Gagarin Cup.
