Attack Sergei Chirokov will earn under a contract with Novosibirsk “Siberia” 30 million rubles, reports Metaratings.ru.
The deal with the 38-year-old striker is for one season.
Shirokov played for Yekaterinburg Avtomobilist for the past two seasons; previously he played for Spartak Moscow and CSKA, Avangard Omsk and SKA Saint Petersburg, with whom he won the Gagarin Cup. In total, the forward played 811 matches in the KHL and scored 515 points (226 goals and 289 assists). With the national team, he became the winner of the 2018 Olympic Games and a two-time world champion.
