American defender Stephen Kaempfer agreed on a contract with Traktor, to conclude a deal the club must exchange the sports rights of the player from Ak Bars, reports Metaratings.ru.
Kämpfer signed a new contract with the Kazan club in 2021, but ended it on his own initiative. The source notes that the clubs are in agreement on the ongoing transition. The 35-year-old hockey player played for Ak Bars in the 2021/22 season.
Last season, Kaempfer played for Arizona farm club Tucson.
