Athletistic/Hockey. The 2008 world champion as a member of the Russian national hockey team, Maxim Sushinsky, expressed his opinion on the statements of Russian traveler Fedor Konyukhov regarding Alexander Ovechkin.

Konyukhov previously said that he had a bad attitude towards Ovechkin because, speaking in the United States, he thought more about money than about Russia.

“According to Konyukhov, is Ovechkin playing in America just for the money? I don’t agree with this. Sasha glorifies Russian hockey abroad.

If this traveler doesn’t want to shake Ovechkin’s hand, then there’s another way to look at it. And in general, does Alexander need someone to approve of him and shake his hand? Such statements can be addressed to anyone, but not to Ovechkin. This opinion was expressed by a person who does not know Alexander personally. I am convinced that Konyukhov has no idea about Ovechkin’s personality and simply expressed his opinion,” Sushinsky emphasized in an interview with a Sport24 correspondent.
