Fleury, three-time Stanley Cup winner, plans to retire after 2024-25 season

Canadian goalkeeperMinnesota » Marc-André Fleury has stated that he intends to end his professional career at the end of the 2024/25 season.

Fleury played in 40 regular season games in the NHL this season, winning 17 times and shooting an average of 89.5%.

— I always dreamed of playing in the NHL, but I didn’t think I would spend 21 years here. I was lucky to be able to play for so long. I want to enjoy performing with the best until the end [игроками] in the world,” Fleury, 39, told TVA Sports, stressing that the next season will be the last of his career.

Minnesota finished 10th in the Western Conference standings and did not make the playoffs.

The goaltender is a three-time Stanley Cup winner with Pittsburgh. In April, the goaltender signed a one-year contract with the Wild.
