Athletistic / Hockey. The Florida Panthers defeated the Edmonton Oilers (2:1) in the deciding game of the last NHL playoff series. Russian goalkeeper Sergei Bobrovsky greatly contributed to this success for the American team.
Last night, Bobrovsky stopped 23 shots against his side. As a result, he was recognized as the best player of the match. Sergei won 16 playoff victories and won the Stanley Cup for the first time.
Florida forward Sam Rinehart was named the second star. It was the Canadian who scored the decisive goal in the seventh game of the final series. The third star is another Panthers forward, Carter Verage, who scored 2 (1+1) points in the goal+pass system.
In Florida, three Russians became Stanley Cup winners: Bobrovsky, defenseman Dmitry Kulikov and forward Vladimir Tarasenko. Note that Tarasenko became a two-time winner of the trophy; he first won it in 2019 as a member of the St. Louis Blues.
