Bobrvoskiy became the first goaltender in NHL history to win the Stanley Cup after playing at least 700 regular season games. Currently, Sergei has exactly 700 matches in the regular season of the North American League.
In the decisive seventh game of the final series against the Edmonton Oilers, Florida won with a score of 2:1. Bobrovsky stopped 23 own shots and was recognized as the first star of the game.
During the last NHL playoffs, Sergei Bobrovsky had 16 wins (two shutouts) in 24 games and stopped 90.6% of shots on his possessions with a safety factor of 2.32.
